Your privacy

What this site keeps about you, and what it does not.

  • Your account holds what you gave when you joined (your name, email, country and local church), with the answers you save, your reflections and your folders.
  • Visits are counted without storing your IP address. A visit is kept with the page, the country it came from, and a code that changes every day, so no one is followed from one day to the next. The country is looked up on this site's own server: your address is not sent anywhere.
  • Searches are counted too. A search that several people made in the last month, and that found answers, can be shown as a suggestion on the home and search pages, without saying who made it.
  • Do Not Track: if your browser sends it, your visits and searches are not recorded at all.
  • Outside analytics: if the site also uses an analytics service (Plausible, Google Analytics or Fathom), that service counts your visits too, and Google Analytics sets cookies of its own. None of them is used when your browser sends Do Not Track.
  • Cookies keep you signed in and remember your language. There are no advertising cookies.

Your account details are never sold or shared.
