Question

Why did nobody but the Magi see the star?

Answer

The peasants, when they was in the temple arguing how—what kind of buttons they must use on their coats, there was some Magis coming across the country, looking at a star. They had observatories in them days like we have today. They even kept time. Every city wall had a tower; they kept time by the stars, but no other men, nobody else saw it. You know why? They wasn’t looking for it. And that’s the reason they say, “I didn’t see nothing happen.” They didn’t come looking for it. That’s the reason people today, say, “I don’t see nothing in divine healing. There’s nothing to it.” You don’t look for it; you don’t believe it. A fellow said, not long ago, said, “Brother Branham, I wouldn’t believe it no matter…” I said, “It wasn’t for unbelievers; it was for believers.” See? It’s just those who believe. That’s all it was sent for.
