Question
Answer
The new birth is an experience. It’s a gift of God. It’s the seal of your faith. The Holy Spirit is a Seal. Ephesians 4:30 says, “Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God whereby you’re sealed until the day of your redemption.” God made Abraham the promise, and Abraham believed God, and was justified by faith; and God give him the sign of circumcision as a seal. So He does today. We believe Him, and then if you say you believe and do not receive the Holy Spirit, then you do not believe; ’cause God promised to give you the Holy Spirit when you did believe. A now, in believing, you do not receive the Holy Spirit when you believe. Paul ask in Acts 19, “Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed?” It’s a gift of God. And when that, when the Spirit of God comes into a man, It quickens him, and then he becomes a new creature. He believes in the immortal God, and he believes that He does all things, and his heart’s in tune with God. And how wonderful.
