Question

Will faith do any good without works?

Answer

How many in here believes God’s going to hear tonight and answer prayer? Oh, isn’t that wonderful? Brother Lindsay, that was a mighty nice then to see a solid ground there of—of every person believing—on believing grounds. Anything could happen. Now, the one thing I’m going to ask you to do, is…How many has faith that Jesus Christ has risen from the dead and is manifesting Hisself right here among us? Do you believe that? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] Well, now, all the faith you have will never do no good until you get some works with it. Is that right? You’ve just got to say now, “I believe it. I accept it. That settles it. And here I am.” See? That’s it. That—that settles the whole thing. All right.
