Jesus said—never said, “Now, I have power to overcome you,” He said, “It’s written, man shall not live by bread alone,” the Father’s Words, see, “But by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Satan took Him up on the pinnacle and said, “If Thou be the Son of God…” Jesus said, “It is written…” He taken Him up on a man—mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world, United States and all, said, “They’re all mine.” Jesus knowed that they were his. Said, “I do with them whatever I want to.” You can see what he’s doing with them, just whatever he wants to. He said, “They’re mine. And I’ll give them every one to You, if You’ll fall down and worship me.” Jesus know in the Millennium, He’s going to fall heir to it anyhow, so He said, “It is written, thou shall worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shall thou serve. Get thee hence, Satan.” Is that right? He defeated Satan on the Father’s Word, is that right? Bringing It to show that the weakest of Christians, can defeat Satan on THUS SAITH THE LORD, out of the Word of God. No matter what you feel, what you think; THUS SAITH THE LORD, “It is written”. Now, look what the Bible said. Jesus said, “Whatso-…” Luke 11:24, “Whatsoever things you desire…” Now watch, healing, whatever it is. “Whatsoever things you desire, when you pray, believe, you receive it.” Is that right? Then it is written, isn’t it? Then I pray, that ask God to heal me. I have a legitmate reason; I want to preach His Gospel; I want to live for Him, I ask Him to heal me. Then I believe I’m healed, and just go on and act like it, and God does the work. That settles it. It’ll do it for you, brother, it’ll do it for you, sister. It’ll do it for you, it’ll do it for you, it’ll do it for you, it’ll do it for every one of you.
