Question

What do the three letters mean on the Catholic crucifix? (Let’s see.) What does the three letters mean on the Catholic crucifix?

Answer

Well, I think all crucifix are the same, if I’m not…I’d better look that up. But it’s got I-R-N-I which means “Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews.” See? If that’s what it is, I didn’t know they had any other special or something or other. But them letters means “Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews.” I-R-N-I, that’s what’s on the crucifix. All right.
