Question

What does 'a deep calling to the deep' mean?

Answer

Listen, let me tell you something now. If there’s a deep calling…Here not long ago, when the church begin to cool off and get formal through the great Wesley revival, the people begin to hunger for more of God; if you hunger for more of God, there’s bound to be more of God to respond to it somewhere. If you’ve only been justified by faith and know nothing about the baptism of the Holy Ghost, you hunger for it, there’s got to be a Holy Ghost somewhere to fill that hungering. That’s right. And if you believe today there is a God Who heals, there’s got to be a Fountain open somewhere for healing, or that desire wouldn’t be there.
