Question

Why did Jesus heal only one man at the pool of Bethesda when so many sick were lying there?

Answer

Let this soak in real deep now, so you get it outside too. Listen. Jesus Christ said, “I can do nothing except My Father shows Me first what to do.” Jesus saw visions. How many believes that say “Amen.” [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] Now look, at the pool of Bethesda He went through all the cripples, and blinds, and halt, passed by every one of them, healed a man laying on a pallet. For Jesus knew that he was there. Why didn’t He stop at some of other people? God just showed Him that one. And then they ask Him, they said, the Jews questioned Him. Now, listen what He said, Saint John 5:19, “Verily, verily (That’s absolutely, absolutely.), I say unto you, The Son can do nothing in Himself, but what He sees the Father doing: whatever the Father does, He shows the Son, the Son does likewise. The Father worketh and I worketh hitherto.” And I—I pray to God that God will help you, will bless you to believe.
