Citations and paragraph numbers

Every answer carries the same four details, so it can always be found again:

Sermon title, date, place, §paragraph

  • § means paragraph. §45 is paragraph 45 of the sermon.
  • The numbers are the same as in the sermon books and on The Table, so you can find the passage in your own copy.
  • The date is written year, month, day: 1965-06-27 is 27 June 1965. A sermon whose date is not known reads Unknown Date.
  • Copy citation copies the reference exactly as shown, ready to paste into a message or your notes.

When you quote an answer to someone, send its reference with it. Then anyone can check the words for themselves.
