Getting help
Asking the assistant
When the team has switched it on, a chat button (a speech bubble) sits in the bottom-right corner of the page. Behind it is an assistant that looks through the published answers and the sermon texts for you.
- Press the chat button. If you are not signed in, you can give your name and email. Fill in any box marked *.
- Press Start Conversation and type your question.
- The assistant replies from the passages it finds and names where they come from.
- Check what it tells you. The assistant writes its reply in its own words and can be wrong, or cite the wrong place. Open the reference in your books, or search for the words here, before you rely on it.
- Ask each question in full. It reads each message on its own and does not remember your earlier ones.
- If it cannot help, press 💬 Talk to a person instead.
The team can also switch the assistant off. The chat then shows the team's name instead, and what you write goes to a person: see Talking to a person.
Signed in, you can read your past chats again in your dashboard, under My Conversations. Before your first one, Start a conversation there opens the chat.
